This matte painting revisits the idea of combining tactile collage with designing and compositing. This matte painting was ultimately used for the music video to cement the world the character was in. I used a slew of textures to give it its unique flavor. It proved challenging to combine many of the elements at play. I wanted there to be a sense of serene innocence to these mountains.
